Bryce Tierney told the dispatcher that the "shooter was someone that I knew" and that Loughner left a message on his phone at 2 a.m. on the day of the shooting. That's about eight hours before the rampage last Saturday.

Tierney told the dispatcher in the call released Friday that Loughner didn't say much and that the call came from a restricted number.

Tierney was friends with Loughner and was with him when the two were arrested for smoking pot in a van in 2008.
