Gunman Eludes Cops at University of New Mexico Hospital

Albuquerque police are searching for a man they say fired one gunshot inside the University of New Mexico Hospital.

The suspect, Cesar Dominquez, 21, was apparently irked about something while he and his girlfriend were at the hospital and fired a shot in the hallway, police told KRQE.

No one was injured and the hospital was released from lockdown late Tuesday afternoon after officers determined Dominquez had left the area.

Police say Dominquez is 5 feet 6 inches tall with numerous tattoos and is armed with a small silver pistol and considered dangerous, reported KRQE.
