WASHINGTON-- Georgetown University public safety officials are warning students to be on the lookout after two students reported being awakened in separate incidents by a male intruder in their dorm rooms.
One student reported being awakened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday by a man in bed next to her. When the woman screamed, the man fled. Officials say the woman was not harmed and nothing was taken.
After the campus Department of Public Safety sent out an alert Saturday, another student reported that she was awakened by someone shaking her shoulder around 3:30 a.m. When she opened her eyes, she saw a man she didn't know leaving the room. Nothing was missing from the room.
