GADSDEN, Ala. – Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, who has formed a committee to explore a possible run for president, suffered several broken ribs in a horse-riding accident at his farm near Gadsden.
Moore was injured Sunday, the same day that former Alabama Gov. Bob Riley was injured in a motorcycle crash in Alaska. Riley defeated Moore in the 2006 Republican primary for governor.
