NEW YORK – In a story May 29 about a cyber attack against Lockheed Martin Corp., The Associated Press erroneously reported that both Lockheed and the Department of Homeland Security said no critical data was stolen.
Lockheed did state that no customer, program or employee personal data was compromised in the attack. But Homeland Security spokesman Chris Ortman said only that his agency and the Pentagon were working with Lockheed to determine the breadth of the attack and "provide recommendations to mitigate further risk."
